Our Story

This sparked a vision: what if young women could discover this truth early in life? If God’s daughters are taught, equipped, and mentored while they are young, we can raise up a generation of confident, Godly women who are unstoppable in advancing the Gospel. The Gospel transforms lives — and transformed lives pushes back the darkness.

God began to speak these two words to her, “Be Loved” – actively participate in letting God love you and transform you.

In August 2025, the very first Be Loved Gathering was launched — creating space for young women to encounter God’s everlasting love and walk boldly in their calling.

For much of her life, Jennifer — the founder of Be Loved Gathering — wrestled with truly embracing God’s love for herself. As she wanted to grow in her faith, she took a step of obedience starting a girls Bible study in her home in 2010. It was short lived as the girls aged out and she began to chase her feisty 4-year-old around. But then in 2016 she felt that tug on her heart again for women her own age. She led this group for 5 years, and then God shifted her focus to start a group for teenagers again, she is still leading today. As she stepped out in faith year after year to lead Bible studies in her home, disciple, and mentor young women, she began to notice a pattern: women of every age struggle to believe they are deeply loved by God.

But she also witnessed something powerful. When a woman truly knows her worth and embraces the love of her Heavenly Father, she becomes an invincible force for the Kingdom — confident, grounded, and radiant with the light of Christ.

Get To Know Jennifer

Jennifer’s first and greatest ministry is being a wife and mom—a role through which God has shaped her heart and revealed Himself most deeply. She is mom to Elianna and bonus mom to Kayelee, Taylor and Ashlee. Together with her husband of 25 years, they celebrate the joy of five grandchildren. Their home is in Herrin, Illinois.

Jennifer really loves people. She has a heart for the underdog, the unseen, the person no one will dare talk to. She believes no one is beyond the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. Whether leading Bible studies, mentoring young women, or serving in her local church, she longs for others to know and follow Jesus.

Her greatest hope and ambition is to leave the gospel of Jesus Christ behind in the lives she has served. One of her favorite quotes by Francis Chan captures her heart: “Our greatest fear should not be of failure but at succeeding at things in life that don’t really matter.”

Statement of Faith

We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man. That He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life; that He was crucified, died as a penalty for our sins, and was raised from the dead bodily on the third day. Later, He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the head of the church and intercedes for believers, and from whence He is coming again personally, bodily, and visibly to this earth to set up His millennial kingdom.

We believe that in His death and by His shed blood, the Lord Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin and redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. Men are saved and justified on this simple and single foundation.  Salvation through Christ Jesus with its forgiveness of sins, its impartation of a new nature, and its hope of eternal life, is entirely apart from good works, baptism, church membership or man’s effort and is of pure grace.

We believe that it should be the goal of every Christian to become a disciple of Christ by growing toward spiritual maturity through the knowledge of and obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Holy Spirit, who indwells and seals all believers at the moment of salvation.

We believe that every true Christian is to be a dynamic part of a local church since this is God’s primary context for spiritual development and community impact.

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally inspired and inerrant. Scripture is the divinely authoritative standard for every age and every life.

We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that these three are one God and he is the absolute and sole creator of the universe and that creation was by divine command.  God by His sovereign choice and out of love for men, sent Christ into the world to save sinners.
